This is a restaurant located in the Memorial City Mall food court. This restaurant has really upped its game in the past few years. The employees offer samples to potential customers passing by and I remember how the samples used to be really dry and overcooked. Surprisingly in the past few years, I've noticed that the quality and taste has improved quite exponentially. I had a sample of the pepper garlic chicken, and I ended up getting a combo with salt pepper shrimp, pepper garlic chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was nothing special and the shrimp was slightly overcooked, but the pepper garlic chicken was quite spectacular. My diagnosis: delicious in my opinion and worth a try, especially if you wrote them off years ago when their food wasn't as good as it is today. Quick warning: they charge extra for shrimp so keep that in mind because it wasn't obvious to me until I saw my receipt.
I stopped here to grab a quick dinner before heading home to work. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and a side of fried rice. The Pad Thai is fantastic and is more than what I expected from the Food Court at Memorial City Mall. The flavor was good, spice was great, and the overall dish was cooked just right. The Fried rice was okay, but it's fried rice, always good for the most part. I likely will be back in the future when I want a quick meal for pickup, or while enjoying my time at the mall. Good Job!
